For Sylvia Cameron of The Woodlands, Texas, art has been a major interest in her life. She received a Masters in Art Education from Sam Houston State University and taught art on the elementary and high school levels. After retiring from teaching she opened Cameron Art Gallery and continued teaching pottery and art. More recently, her interests have turned to photography and watercolor painting in her private studio. Travels to Africa, Mexico, China, Egypt, Greece or her own back yard have been captured by camera and brought to life on watercolor paper. Sylvia's aim is to capture that moment in time for all of us to enjoy.
